In order to use WhatsApp on your laptop or desktop, you will need to pass through the following steps:
Before starting, make sure that both your smartphone and computer have internet access.
Open your browser(Google Chrome,Mozilla Firefox, Opera….) on your computer. Search for WhatsApp Web to log in to WhatsApp on WhatsApp Web. Then you need to use your smartphone to scan the QR code.
1. Open WhatsApp on your smartphone.
If you use Android: Tap More options (three dots in the right hand corner)
If you use iPhone: Go to WhatsApp Settings.
2. Tap Linked Devices.
On Android: Tap LINK A DEVICE. Follow the on-screen instructions by unlocking your phone with a fingerprint, or by drawing a pattern, or by entering a PIN you use to unlock your device. The camera of your phone will start.
On iPhone: Tap Link a Device > OK. On iOS 14 and above, use Touch ID or Face ID to unlock. If you don’t use a fingerprint, you’ll be asked to enter the PIN you use to unlock your phone.
Select the check box next to “Keep me signed in” on the QR screen on your computer or Portal to stay logged in on this device.
3. Use your phone to scan the QR code on your computer or Portal. Then your WhatsApp will appear on your computer. If prompted, tap or select Done.
Remember that your phone must always be connect to the internet in order to use WhatsApp on your computer.
If you want to use WhatsApp on your computer without connecting your phone to the internet do this:
Update to the latest version of WhatsApp on your device.
On Android:
Open WhatsApp > tap More options.
Tap Linked Devices.
Tap Multi-device beta.
Tap JOIN BETA.
On iPhone
Go to WhatsApp Settings.
Tap Linked Devices.
Tap Multi-Device Beta.
Tap Join Beta.
After this, you can use WhatsApp on your computer without connecting your phone to the internet.
